How to Apply For NSFAS 2024? www.nsfas.org.za
Application for NSFAS 2024 is basically online. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) online application system has been design to help students ease their application steps. When applying online, you will be asked to make changes to any incorrect or wrong information helping you to ensure that you include all the necessary details when submitting your online application form.
Follow the Steps below to complete your NSFAS Online Application 2024:
- Go to www.nsfas.org.za on your chrome browser
- Click on myNSFAS tab on top of NSFAS homepage
- Create NSFAS account profile or login if you already have an account
- Login with your ID number and password after creating your myNSFAS account
- On myNSFAS portal, click on the “Apply” tab to begin the application process
- Complete the online application form with all the necessary details
- Then, upload all your supporting documents, whether they are certified or not, don’t worry
- Click on the Submit button after completing all fields on the screen for evaluation.
NOTE: Make sure you submit all the supporting documents for your application and that you qualify for NSFAS academic entry requirements.
Applications for the NSFAS funding for 2024-2025 academic year will be open soon. Closing date for Nsfas Application 2024-2025 is November. You will need the following to complete your funding application for 2024-2025 year.
Required Supporting Documents:
- You must have your own cellphone number and email address
- You must have a copy of your ID or birth certificate
- You should also have copies of your parents, guardian or spouse ID
- The proof of your income or 1 year’s IRP5 (if applicable,)
- Your parents, guardian or spouse’s evidence of income
- Those who are SASSA grant recipient, are not to have any proof of income.
- All Applicants with a disability are to submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
- All recognised applicants as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
NSFAS Application 2024 Opening Date
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme, NSFAS Online Application for the 2024-2025 academic year round will be open on September 28, 2023 and close on January 31, 2024. On this note, we encourage all prospective applicants wanting to apply for NSFAS 2024 Funding to submit their applications as soon as NSFAS opens to avoid any late application.
