SARS appointment booking system is online platform designed by South Africa Revenue service (SARS) which help South Africa citizen to make appointment online. If you are already registered for tax and want to make appointment, you can use SARS Booking System to make appointment.
What do you need to know when making an appointment?
- Kindly specify if you are a tax practitioner, representative, individual, or small- to medium-sized business (SMME) while making a reservation.
- The only people who can make an appointment are taxpayers who are registered with SARS. Users who are not registered will be directed to register on the eFiling website.
- You will not be allowed to schedule an appointment if your identity as a registered individual taxpayer, representative, or tax practitioner cannot be confirmed.
- If you don’t enter all of your personal information precisely as it is on file with SARS, the system won’t be able to validate it.
- Bookings made by non-South Africans using foreign passport or permit numbers will be accepted. Bookings must be made using the ID numbers of South African citizens.
- Please be aware that you must give us a working cell phone number and/or email address.
- No more than 60 days may pass before choosing a date. You will be able to make or receive reservations as early as 48 hours from now.
- For a booking, only one time slot may be chosen.
- Block bookings, or the scheduling of recurring appointments, are prohibited.
- You will receive a formal confirmation with a reference number by email or SMS as soon as the appointment is confirmed.
- On the day of the appointment, for bookings made over the phone or via video:
- You will get a call from a SARS agent who will answer your questions.
- We promise to make every effort to serve all clients who arrive on time at the time of the confirmed reservation.
- Clients who arrive late risk losing their appointment and having to schedule a new one.
- You will be assigned a specific service agent appointment, and unless you make a different reservation, you will not be able to ask for help from another agent.
- For video or phone engagement appointments, please make sure you have electronically submitted all pertinent supporting documentation before the requested appointment time; otherwise, SARS might not be able to help you with your inquiry.
- After your booking is confirmed, you can use the SARS Online Query System to electronically submit any more supporting documentation that you may need to submit.

- After making a reservation, you can use our free voice call-back service to get help filing your ITR12 Income Tax return.
- Complete the requestor information if you wish to cancel an existing appointment. It will show your current appointment on the screen. To cancel the appointment, click the “delete” icon.
- It is advised that you access the SARS appointment booking system form using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari rather than Internet Explorer.
