PSLE Examination Format
The Council of Tanzania examinations has created the format book for the Primary Education Completion Examination based on the 2015 Primary Education Curriculum criteria. This format will be utilised by candidates for the Final Exam.
Education Primary 2021.
From Class III to Class VII, the mandatory subjects to be taught have been stipulated under the new curriculum. Kiswahili, English language, math, science, technology, civics and ethics, social knowledge, and work skills are the disciplines covered.
Improvements to the topic outlines for Classes III through VII were made possible by changes in the curriculum. Thus, six (6) subjects—Kiswahili, English Language, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Citizenship and Ethics, and Social Knowledge and Work Skills—will be measured by the Board of Examinations.
Nonetheless, the format of all subjects studied at this level of schooling remains unchanged from its original design. The Finishing Primary Education Test Design will remain same, with 40 questions to select from and responses to be entered into Optical Mark Reader (OMR) forms.
