The 2025 Matric Exams
Beginning on Monday, October 30, 2025, and ending the first week of December 2025, was the last matric examination period.
Exams during this year were administered nationwide in 6 337 public schools and 552 private exam centres, including adult education and training facilities and special education centers. Improved security measures have been put in place, according to the DBE, to ensure that the 2023 final matric examination period is uninterrupted.
